		<td>Both <b><a href="http://www.esmf.ucar.edu/">Earth System Modeling Framework(ESMF)</a></b> and 
			<b><a href= "http://prism.enes.org/">Program for Integrate Earth System Modeling(PRISM)</a></b>
			are nearing the end of their initial development period.
			The need for a closer technical partnership has been recognized over the
			last few years of informal contact, and most recently in a more concrete
			way at the PRISM SSW meeting in June in Paris, and at the ESMF Community
			Meeting in Boulder in July 2004.</td>

<p>The points of contact between the two projects include the framework
	software itself: the infrastructure, superstructure and runtime
	environments. Another area of activity is for the modeling framework
	community to coordinate our developments with those of the developers
	of data standards, conventions and frameworks (the GO-ESSP and CF
	communities).</p>
